It seems I’ve been networking all my life. As a foreigner and avid Marketer I have noticed an interesting insight in Romania since networking takes on a whole new approach. I’ll always remember the look on the faces of my staff when I first suggested they network with other Romanian business people. Their reaction was ‘why would I help this person?’ I was stunned. After shaking my head a few times I sought to understand the cultural insights behind this feeling.
Then one day I decided to write few articles on the topic of networking. I discovered that I had lot to say on the matter and that perhaps some people may find this interesting and helpful. After all, who doesn’t want to meet people and build their career or business and become successful? A few months later, I had now completed over 190 pages of tips, tools and suggestions on how to become an effective networker. I soon discovered that when you write about something you really like and feel knowledgeable about, there is no limit to what you can create.
Being passionate about marketing and having taught marketing surely helps the process of writing a book about networking, since networking is really about ‘marketing yourself’ or in the groovy latest term, ‘personal branding’. ‘A Networking Book’ is now available on Amazon, iBooks , Barnes & Noble and Carturesti and was officially launched at Management 360, on June 19, 2014.
WHY A NETWORKING BOOK
More than a book of mighty ideas, it’s a book of action! Find out what it takes to become an effective networker by understanding its basic truths and applying the rules to your personal advantage.
